One of our volunteers, Jessica, is an amazing baker. She and her husband live in a suburb of Baltimore. She asked us if Morale Boosters could send a banner for her church congregation to sign for her neighborhood Baltimore PD station. She wanted to show appreciation for keeping their neighborhood safe. So, Morale Boosters designed and mailed a customized banner, and also called to establish a point of contact at that station. Jessica arranged a day for her church to sign the banner after services. The congregation was excited to participate. Jessica then got busy making extra special cupcakes the day before the visit. The Officers were very pleased with the banner that contained dozens of thank-you notes, along with a few dozen delicious individually wrapped cupcakes. One person with a generous heart, and a willing church to help, made a positive difference at a busy police station.
