We visited the LAPD 77th Street Station around Christmas time, posted "Thank You" cards on decorated boards, and placed them in the station's muster room for all officers to see. A few volunteers joined us. We served Marie Callender pies and handed out "road bags" that had "Thank You" notes inside. Most of our thank-you notes contain Bible verses.

The road bags are small sacks filled with snacks, gum, mints, etc. for the Officers. The bags themselves were decorated by some of our youngest volunteers. They're convenient for the Officers to take in their patrol car or have at their desk.
