On a very hot, August afternoon, a large group of Morale Boosters visited the OCSD Stanton station (a busy but often overlooked station) to encourage hard working Sheriff deputies. Stanton is a rough area. Much drug activity and prostitution bring many challenges to this Sheriff station.

We made treat bags for the deputies to take on the road, with the bags being decorated by our youngest volunteers. As usual, each bag also contained hand-written thank-you cards from supporters. We also brought a banner as a gift and permanent reminder of our appreciation. Peacemaker Bibles were available for all who wanted one.
